Easy Horchata Latte Recipe

Easy Horchata Latte Recipe

If you're anything like me, you love finding little ways to make your morning coffee feel a bit more special. I'm definitely not a barista, but this is my favorite way to enjoy a homemade horchata latte. It's warm, creamy, lightly sweet, and comes together in just a few minutes using Cakefill Classic Horchata Mix.

The best part? You don't need any fancy equipment or specialty syrups—just your favorite coffee, milk, and a spoonful of horchata.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup brewed coffee

  • ½ cup whole milk

  • 1 tablespoon Cakefill Classic Horchata Mix

  • Ground cinnamon, for topping

  • Extra Cakefill Classic Horchata Mix, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew ¾ cup of your favorite coffee.

  2. Heat the whole milk until warm (don't let it boil).

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of Cakefill Classic Horchata Mix to the warm milk.

  4. Froth the milk until it's smooth and creamy.

  5. Pour the brewed coffee into your mug, then slowly add the frothed horchata milk.

  6. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

  7. If you like your latte a little sweeter, stir in an extra spoonful of horchata mix.

  8. Sip and enjoy!

Why You'll Love It

This horchata latte is one of my favorite morning treats because it's so easy to make while feeling like something you'd order at a café. The warm cinnamon, creamy milk, and smooth coffee pair perfectly with the subtle sweetness of horchata, making every sip cozy and comforting.

Whether you're starting your day or enjoying a slow weekend morning, this simple recipe is an easy way to bring a little café-inspired flavor home.
